JSIC is a Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop at the University of Michigan.  It originally formed in Summer/Fall 2012 and serves as a venue for graduate students and faculty across campus to regularly meet in order to foster interdisciplinary work among graduate students and faculty working on Japanese Studies.
